Inside Information -- Termination of Memorandum of Understanding for the Possible Acquisition of a Controlling Interest in Nobao Energy Holding (China) Company Limited
HONG KONG, CHINA and CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Feb 16, 2017) - The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. (the "Corporation" or "Sunshine") (HKEX:2012) is pleased to announce the following:
TERMINATION OF MOU
Reference is made to the announcement of the Corporation dated 14 September 2016 (the "Announcement") in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding for potential acquisition (the "Potential Acquisition") of 51% interest in Nobao Energy Holding (China) Company Limited ("Nobao"). Unless otherwise specified, terms used herein shall have the same meanings as defined in the Announcement.
The Board wishes to announce that on February 16, 2017, the MOU was terminated as the conditions necessary for the Potential Acquisition to proceed further have not been fulfilled.
