Namibia Rare Earths Inc. Changes Its Name to Namibia Critical Metals Inc.

Halifax, Nova Scotia (FSCwire) - Namibia Rare Earths Inc. (TSXV:NRE) (“Namibia Rare Earths” or the “Company”) announced today that the Company has changed its corporate name to Namibia Critical Metals Inc. and its shares will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new name and ticker symbol “NMI” upon the opening of the markets today.

The Company’s updated website can be accessed at www.namibiacriticalmetals.com.

The Company has changed its corporate name to Namibia Critical Metals Inc. (“Namibia Critical Metals”) to more accurately reflect the recently expanded commodity base from solely rare earths to include a variety of highly critical commodities including cobalt, copper, vanadium, zinc, lithium, graphite, tantalum, niobium, nickel, and gold.

The name change was approved by shareholders at the Annual and Special Meeting held on May 24, 2018 and subsequently approved by the TSX Venture Exchange. The Company’s common shares will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new ticker symbol “NMI” upon the opening of the markets today. The CUSIP number assigned to the Company’s shares following the name change is 62988F102 (ISIN: CA62988F1027). No action is required by shareholders with respect to the name change. Outstanding share certificates are not affected by the name change and will not need to be exchanged.
