TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 26, 2016) - Galantas Gold Corp. (the 'Company') (TSX VENTURE:GAL)(AIM:GAL), the AIM and TSXV quoted gold explorer & developer in Northern Ireland, previously noted (25th January 2016) that the discovery of Kestrel vein was on land covered by its planning consent and that mining was permitted on this part of the mine land. The Company has now been advised that although the freehold land overlying the Kestrel vein is owned by the company and was covered in its planning permission, mining of the new vein may not be included. Were commerciality of the vein to be determined, the vein would be worked by underground means, from the neighbouring Joshua vein and for the avoidance of doubt, planning permission would be secured prior. The land surface would be unaffected and no environmental impact would be expected to arise.
