LONDON, June 22, 2016 - Fortune Minerals Ltd. (TSX: FT) (OTCQX: FTMDF) ("Fortune" or the "Company") (www.fortuneminerals.com) reports that the nominees listed in the management information circular for the 2016 Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders held on June 21, 2016 (the "Meeting") were elected as directors of Fortune. Shareholders at the Meeting also approved the appointment of Fortune's auditors and the extension of certain warrants held by insiders of the Corporation.
